Demi Colón is a 20 year old sophomore in college. Her major is Early Childhood Education and dual is Writing Arts with a Spanish minor. She enjoys working with kids and wants to become a teacher after college.

She lived in New York City all her life until her parents decided it was time for a change and move to Jersey. She moved to a small town called Marlton and it wasn’t the same. Demi missed the city where everywhere she went there was loud music playing in a passing by car or on a loud speaker. She loves thinking about those summer days at a park with her family just having a good time.
Demi is from the Dominican Republic and if you don’t know how Dominicans party, now you will. They listen to bachata, merengue, and salsa all the time, it just never stops. Her mom grabs her by the hand and tells her to get up and dance like everyone else. The music is blasting, hyping everyone up as they shake their hips, swinging around.
Spanish music isn’t the only music genre she listens to. Demi loves finding new music all the time. Her all time favorite is hip pop & R&B. When someone asks, “What’s your favorite song?” Demi replies “You can’t ask me that, I have too many!”. One of her favorite artist is Drake, she’s been a fan since day one. Summer 2018 she attended one of his concerts for the first time at Wells Fargo in Philadelphia, PA and it was the best concert she’s been to.
